Therapy Offerings

Teens & Young Adults

I specialize in therapy with 13 to 30 year olds. The transition from childhood to adulthood often feels destabilizing, and may be even more so during this unique moment in history. I work with young people individually and with their families to help them thrive amidst challenges around relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity exploration.

Adults & Couples

I offer short- and long-term therapy to individual and partnered adults to help improve self-understanding, relationships with key others, and connection to spontaneity and joy. I work with individuals facing difficult life transitions, painful symptoms and existential crises. I also work with people who can't quite point to a problem, but are seeking greater access to creativity, spirituality, or purpose in their lives. I offer relationship therapy for folks in all configurations who want to deepen their connection and improve communication.

Children & Families

I work with young people from kindergarten to early adulthood. I believe that family-based therapy is the key to supporting kids through hard times, and I work closely with caregivers and teachers to understand and address anxiety, social and learning difficulties, traumatic experiences, and other adversities that children face.

Single-Session Consultation

(No one turned away for lack of funds)

I offer 75-minute one-time consultations to individuals and co-parents. This is a good fit for individuals or families with discrete problems they would like support with, particularly if therapy feels inaccessible for time or financial reasons. I will ask some initial questions in a short intake call, offer therapeutic recommendations and facilitated dialogue during the consultation hour, and conclude with recommendations for follow-up. This is NOT a good fit for crisis situations involving safety risks to self or other. These sessions are offered on a sliding scale from $25 to $350 based on household income.

Teaching, Writing, & Consulting

I am passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration that shares insights and best practices between psychology, education, public health, medical and legal settings, and social movements.

I partner with schools, nonprofits, and businesses to offer trainings, workshops, or support with ongoing projects. My offerings have included:

  • Trauma-informed techniques for educators, lawyers, and primary care settings

  • Legal interviewing in the context of developmental and acute trauma

  • Navigating the unique needs of adolescents in social service settings

  • Family-based support strategies for unaccompanied immigrant children

  • Building rapport and safety with very young children through telehealth

  • Risk assessment and safety planning in legal settings

  • Support for white providers working on cultural accountability in settings with majority BIPOC clients

  • Deepening communication and improving collaboration on interdisciplinary teams

  • Vicarious trauma and community care for healers and providers

If your social service organization is seeking support with any of the above, or otherwise wants to operate in ways that are more values- and mission-aligned, please reach out to discuss possible collaboration with training, writing, or facilitation projects.
